ADD1D comes from the iconic Hong Kong Chinglish slang “加一D” (pronounced Add-One-Dee, meaning "to add a little extra"). We believe in a simple everyday philosophy: small, thoughtful additions can completely elevate your routine.

Cradle of ADD1D
The concept of ADD1D was born when Christopher, founder of ADD1D, embarked on a journey across Europe to celebrate his MBA graduation. While travel can be exhilarating, it also presents numerous challenges. During his adventures, he faced extreme weather conditions and the ever-present threat of theft. This experience convinced him that a functional and reliable backpack is essential for both travel and everyday life. Thus, the idea of establishing ADD1D was conceived, driven by the desire to create products that enhance travel experience.

First Success
Our journey began in 2021 with the launch of our innovative anti-theft backpack on Kickstarter. Thanks to the incredible support from people around the world, we were able to bring our first product to life.
This experience not only fueled our passion for creating functional and stylish designs but also connected us with a community that shares our vision for safety and convenience in everyday travel.
